Price Transparency
No insurance no problem! Here are some of our cash pay rates:
- Initial Evaluation: $195 for 45 minutes
- Treatment Session: $150 for 45 minutes
- Nasal Release Technique: $75 for 30 minutes
All services are provided exclusively by a Doctor of Physical Therapy: no technicians, assistants, or aides facilitate treatment.
Do I Need a Doctor’s Referral for Physical Therapy?
In many cases, no! Texas law allows qualified physical therapists to evaluate and treat patients without a physician’s referral for up to 30 consecutive calendar days. This can allow you to begin physical therapy sooner without waiting for a physician appointment or referral.
However, your insurance plan or type of coverage may have additional requirements. Some common exceptions include:
- HMO insurance: Many HMO plans require a referral and/or prior authorization before physical therapy services are covered. Check with your insurance provider to confirm your plan’s requirements.
- VA Community Care (TriWest): Veterans receiving physical therapy through the VA Community Care Network must have VA authorization/referral before receiving non-urgent care from a community provider. Texas is part of CCN Region 4, which is administered by TriWest.
- Workers’ compensation: Workers’ compensation patients must follow the referral and authorization requirements associated with their claim.
