Bortnick Therapy Enterprises Testimonials

After a repetitive use injury I could no longer raise my elbow to shoulder level without excruciating pain. After just 3 sessions I could raise my hand to the full vertical position. Dr Bortnick has been a lifesaver. I still have many other motions we are working on, but her expertise is abundantly clear. Pain is involved but it is fleeting and clear progress is palpable after each 1 hour session. At 66 —(18 months post quad bypass), I am playing full.court basketball with men in their prime, so being unable to raise my left arm overhead is a huge disadvantage. After therapy completion, I expect to be able to resume a regimen including pull ups, Parallel dips and perhaps vertical pushups once I regain full shoulder range of motion.

Leah did a fantastic job making me comfortable right off the bat when I came in to see her. She explained everything just right for me to understand what was happening and that made me feel good. Leah is a great Physical Therapist and I recommend her for everyone.

I was in a car accident that left me feeling extremely dizzy and disoriented. Thankfully, I found Dr. B, who reassured me with her professionalism and expertise. She thoroughly assessed my condition and explained the treatment plan clearly. Her compassionate and effective approach helped me regain my balance and feel normal again. Dr. B truly knows her stuff, and her knowledge and skills made me confident in my recovery every step of the way. I can’t thank her enough for her help. 10/10 would definitely go back if I ever need medical assistance again.

Once you meet Leah it is immediately obvious that she has a passion for helping people. I felt she was an excellent listener which is an invaluable asset in treating patients and a rarity in today’s healthcare system. I give her a big thumbs up!

Dr Leah Bortnick is one of THE best physical therapists I have had the privilege to work with. I am a complex case, with a torn meniscus, L4/L5 and C4-C7 slippages, and Sacroilitis. She is very knowledgeable about our anatomy and skilled in treating most areas. Dr Leah has done an amazing job of analyzing my conditions, checking my body responses, modifying as needed and developing treatment plans that have me close to recovery in a very short period of time. She is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable. But you can also see her mind working as she watches my every move and corrects me. I love it because I am getting great results! And last but not least she is so very compassionate; she called me at home one day to check up on me!! Now who does that these days!

I broke my left rib cage about a year ago. From that issue I had 3 trouble areas. I was able to get rid of 2 in about 4 months after the break but the last 1 has been the hardest to fix. The gist is my rib cage, chest wall and skin have serious adhesions. Dr. Leah and her techniques have very much helped with trunk mobility and breathing. I’ve seen her for about 5 sessions now and the progress she’s made is miles ahead of any doctors I’ve seen. She cares, listens, works the problem and measures progress. Highly recommend her and BT&W.
